At Rose Avenue, we use Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to create a welcoming, predictable, and safe school where every student can learn and succeed.
PBIS means we teach, practice, and celebrate positive behavior just as we teach academic skills. Across campus, students learn three schoolwide expectations:
BE RESPECTFUL Use kind words, include others, and follow directions. | BE RESPONSIBLE Come prepared, make good choices, and take care of our school. | BE SAFE Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself and follow safety routines. |
How PBIS Helps Students
Creates a positive, safe, and predictable school environment.
Helps students stay focused on learning and build strong social skills.
Recognizes leadership with specific feedback such as, “Thank you for being the change by...”
How Families Can Help
Use the words respectful, responsible, and safe at home.
Celebrate positive choices and ask your child how they were a leader at school.
Join our PBIS Committee or volunteer at Rose Avenue events.Review your student’s points via the App Portal (PBIS Rewards).

Celebren las decisiones positivas y pregunten a su hijo cómo demostró liderazgo en la escuela.
Únanse a nuestro comité PBIS o participen como voluntarios en los eventos de Rose Avenue.
